Course Description…
The Level 1 Attendant has solid basic life support skills and can perform these skills independently or in harmony with both Level 2 or 3 Attendants. The Level 1 First Aid Attendant is an important member of the Emergency Response Team and is an integral part of the overall Emergency Response System.
Course Format…
This course includes a video presentation and many ‘hands on’ practical exercises. All basic life support (including one-operator CPR), are covered with additional emphasis and training on spinal injury recognition and management, minor wound care and record keeping and forms.
Level 1 is an excellent introductory program that can be useful in helping to determine a candidate’s aptitude, interest or ability for Level 2 or 3 training
